4th January 2021

Veganuary

Phew, we made it. 2021 is here and at Quattro Foods we are committed to making this year as healthy, happy, successful and fulfilling as we all deserve. What can we do to help you be your best self this year? With a wide and ever-growing range of food products from every continent and to suit every taste and food preference, we aim to empower you with your food choices to make this year one to remember. After all, we have a full, long, exhausting 2020 to shed. Turning to a plant-based diet is one of the preferred choices of new year resolutions, growing in popularity with each passing year.

Organisations promoting plant-based diets are harnessing the trend to encourage people to ditch meat, fish and dairy products and to embrace a vegan January. Or a Veganuary. Not just social media terminology but a real non-profit organisation that encourages people worldwide to try veganism in the first month of the year and beyond. Last year’s campaign saw upwards of 400,000 people pledging to try a vegan diet, and brought over 600 brands, restaurants, and supermarkets on board to promote the campaign. One of the many consequences of Veganuary 2020 was the launch of more than 1200 new vegan products and menus in the UK alone. And it’s not just a January fad. Veganuary supports people and businesses to move to a plant-based diet throughout the year, aiming to protect the environment, improve health across the world and tackle animal cruelty.

Fully supportive of any initiative that preserves our precious planet and enhances our health, the Quattro kitchen team is whipping up a storm to help facilitate this move. From mashes to risottos, rice pots, soups and sauces, to purees, compotes and curries, our vegan range is growing. We have even created a delectable fake mac n cheese. It’s a best-seller!

Our plant-based food options include culinary delights from across the globe.

  • Refried chipotle or pasilla chilli beans

  • Rice and peas
  • Butternut rendang
  • Sweet potato katsu

Plant-based Italian delights:

Quattro’s talented development chefs love a challenge. Veganism is a not a new concept in our kitchen but it’s a sector that is growing and changing, with new ideas and ingredients coming to the fore at a cracking pace. We are keeping up, as we continue to support the hospitality industry whilst it attempts to get back on its feet as the Covid catastrophe loses ground. We supply delicious and nutritious plant-based fare to restaurants, high street chains, schools, hospitals, food service providers and wholesalers. Other popular products in our vegan range includes:

  • Vegan cheese sauce
  • Vegan bechamel sauce
  • Vegan meatballs in a rich pomodoro sauce
  • Vegan blue no-cheese carbonara

Go on, give it a go. We’re here to support you in your 2021 vegan journey!
