Born in 2010, with our fearless leader Sam Brower at our helm, Quattro Foods serves the country and beyond, from our South Coast HQ in Portsmouth. In the post-Covid era, we are even more committed to feeding your customers, supporting our industry and being a force for good in the community. We source the freshest ingredients from local suppliers, we’re working tirelessly to make our operations greener and we continue to care for those who need our help by supporting local foodbanks, putting people first during the cost-of-living crisis, and catering to our ever-diversifying customer base with changing menus, diets and needs.
So yes, we make ambient, chilled and frozen ready-to-use sauces, soups, curries, pastes, dressings and loads more. We are all about the food. But we’re not really. We’re more about people, the planet and our community. And if we get to work with food all day (including regular tastings!), we’re happy.

How we work
Our tailor-made service makes life easier for those who, like us, work in a professional kitchen. You send us a brief – sometimes detailed, and sometimes a blank page – either way, we love a challenge, and we get excited about concocting dishes from scratch. We work with you on culinary themes and ideas then we set about sourcing the freshest and highest-grade ingredients to bring to the kitchen. And then the marinading, peeling, chopping, stewing and cooking begins. As soon as we’re happy with the end product, it’s deposited into a variety of packaging formats and our distributors get it to you, whatever and whenever you need.
We develop menus and products across genres and price points. From authentic international cuisine, to products with a longer shelf-life, we focus on retaining vibrant flavours without compromising on your requirements, like vegan; low-salt; low-calorie; additive and preservative free products. We work in a totally nut-free, state-of-the-art kitchen, using traditional cooking methods. All fresh meat is UK sourced and proudly carries the Red Tractor logo.
