We work with many customers to develop recipes for their brands. We don’t manage the distribution or marketing of these products, but we do work with companies that may be able to offer customers direct assistance with this.
We do work with start ups, providing our minimum volumes per recipe are not prohibitive.
We offer various sizes and packaging types, taking consistency and particulate size into consideration.
We produce to order, bringing in fresh ingredients on a just in time basis. Once orders are placed, we start the procurement of raw materials and plan the production.
All of our chilled and frozen products are bespoke. Some ambient, wholesale products are available for direct purchase, providing there is no requirement for branded labelling.
This really depends on the product and the availability of the specific ingredients.
Yes, we do. We have a variety of cooking vessel sizes and the MOQ is based on the smallest cooking vessel, which outputs around 110kg.
We’ve removed the use of all black plastic from our packaging and the jars we use for wholesale are fully recyclable. We support waste reduction by offering variable pouch sizes too, to reduce the use of non-recyclable plastics and we donate any surplus food to local charities.
Unfortunately not, as we don’t homogenise in production.
We’d love to and our chefs certainly have the expertise; however, we are not permitted to make cold mix products under our BRC certification.
No. Sachets and dip pots are too small for our packing equipment to handle.
We produce component parts, but not whole meals. We could produce beef stew and a mashed potato, for example, but not in the same pack.
No. Retort manufacturing is a very specific process. We make our products in a traditional way, using pH control for ambient stability. We don’t have retort facilities and have no plans to adopt them.
We are fortunate to supply the UN into their bases across the world; however, we sell through UK based consolidators and do not directly export our goods.
