As the festive season approaches, Team Quattro is beavering busily away in the kitchen. Whilst many businesses start slowing down at this time of year in preparation for the holidays, the food manufacturing sector is at the hub of quite the opposite trend. What do we all associate with Christmas? Tree? Tick. Pressies? Sorted. Almost. And most importantly – what will we eat? Food is a focus for everyone at this time of year and the Quattro Foods chefs are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the culinary highlight of your year goes off with a bang.
Christmas is almost upon us and lunch preparations are well underway. Professional and amateur cooks around the world are planning, prepping, shopping and chopping. We spend hours in the kitchen and in the blink of an eye, every piece of turkey, every drop of gravy and every crispy roastie has gone. Every chef knows that empty plates are the mark of a good job well done and rejoice in the knowledge that lunch was a roaring success – everyone is happy, full and a little bit tipsy. And once every crumb has been devoured, you may be at liberty to settle on the sofa and sleep it all off in front of the telly – but we are not!
Post-Christmas is one of the busiest and most exciting times in the Quattro calendar.
We have lived and experienced the continued trend of increased sales and menu changes in the New Year and we strive to keep ahead of the curve by starting to plan and develop a range of exciting new recipes around the 27th December in preparation for this frenetic time. No rest for the wicked!
