Girl Eating Healthy Packed Lunch In School Cafeteria

11th September 2020

Quattro goes back to school

September is here. But it’s no ordinary September. ‘Back to school’ month takes on a whole new meaning this year as parents and carers across the country celebrate the end of a six-month lockdown and wave a fond farewell to that universally challenging episode that was home-schooling. For some, the pandemic has offered a welcome opportunity for quality family time and for many, many others, the return to education brings profound relief that our children are learning again and crucially, they are learning from people qualified to teach them, people who understand fractions, know what a compound verb is and never lose their cool.

At Quattro Foods we love to help. We can’t tell you how to factorise and we definitely cannot and will not build three parachutes to see which falls fastest, but we can be of assistance in many other ways. We can feed hungry growing brains to make sure they are focused and at their best when they’re brought back together (at last) with their highly competent and infinitely patient teachers. Have we mentioned our newfound appreciation for the sterling job our nation’s educators do with our little learners? Never again will we take these saintly beings for granted…

We will help make the return to school seamless. We know they’ll miss mum and dad’s cooking so we’ll make sure that lunch at school doesn’t disappoint. We know what makes a decent school lunch and we design, prepare, cook and produce everything to order.

We have been proudly feeding the nation’s students for over ten years and we understand how to put together the components of healthy, nutritious school dinners. Menu development for schools is an area born of a passion for nurturing the next generation and we have worked tirelessly to design school lunches that nourish pupils, enabling them to learn productively.

Quattro brings nutrition to the education sector through an experienced team of chefs, previously part of the team that conceived new school menus as a result of Jamie Oliver’s acclaimed campaign to improve school meals.

We all want our kids to maintain their energy throughout the school day, and we appreciate the challenges faced by busy school kitchen staff, so we help them by offering flexibility and allowing them to work in smarter, more efficient ways. Our food solutions save time, money and resources and are designed to work for professional chefs in busy kitchens with limited time for peeling, stewing and chopping. We do the heavy lifting so they can create complete lunches for hungry minds. Our consistently high standards ensure that school food products comply with all regulations and taste exceedingly good, pleasing pupils, kitchen staff and school leadership teams.

When the country’s pupils are well-fed, we can sit back and relax knowing that tomorrow’s leaders are well looked after. That’s the Quattro way. So, wave them off, sigh with relief and enjoy that elusive headspace, knowing that they’ll come bustling through the front door at the end of the day well nourished, properly educated and beautifully tired. Early nights all round!
