If you’re regular readers of our blog, you’ll have no doubt seen that we recently installed blast freezing facilities here at Quattro HQ. During our expansion it became apparent that a blast chiller was also required to assist with the current freezing and chilling capabilities.
Keith Fiander, our Operations Manager, was looking for a turn key solution for our new system and contacted Fareham-based Arctic Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, who proceeded to contact their supply chain for the best solution for us.
A detailed specification and design were agreed and we instructed Arctic’s in-house installation team to carry out all electrical, control and refrigeration works.
The most vital thing to us during the process was that the install could not impact our production in anyway. We are pleased to say that this was successfully achieved with some high detail planning between Arctic, Keith and our Production Manager, Mariusz Szczerek!
Once the installation was completed and commissioning was performed, we had to simply select a time and start the process – letting the system take over.
