Energy levels in the Quattro kitchen are high as an order reaches its final manufacturing stages before it’s sent out to an expectant customer. The pot is stirred for the last time. Final seasoning is sprinkled, chef has a quick taste, and satisfied, he closes the lid and sends his summons to the packaging and delivery team. But how do we reach the end stage in an extremely specialised and involved system?
The food manufacturing process is not as simple as throwing together some fresh tasty ingredients to create a mouth-watering piece of culinary heaven. Quattro’s bespoke food development service involves creativity and impeccable customer care – primarily focused on meeting customer expectations, however high. Meticulous planning is required for every item of food that makes the journey from Quattro’s professional kitchen to our customers.
We thought you may enjoy a detailed summary of the mechanics of Team Quattro. This is how we work.
Our tailor-made service offers the design, manufacture and delivery of high quality food products to restaurants, including wholesale and high street chains and individual retail outlets, the army, NHS and school and colleges across Europe, the UK and beyond. Customers provide us with a product brief, which can either be extremely detailed or vague, requiring creative input from our talented development chefs. Working to devise themes and ideas from the outset allows our chefs to exercise the full spectrum of their talents to conceive exceptional product and menu ideas from scratch.
A thorough consultation with the customer is followed by the next stage of the project – sourcing. At Quattro Foods we take great pride in our close working relationships with local suppliers. An excursion to visit nearby farmers and vegetable growers to source the freshest organic produce on the local market is always exciting. Their passion for producing the highest quality goods in line with a deep commitment to environmental issues is inspiring and reassuring. We trust our preferred suppliers to deliver the best food on the market, which we in turn, deliver to you, our valued
customer. All fresh meat in the Quattro kitchen is UK sourced and proudly carries the Red Tractor logo.
The manufacturing process takes place in Quattro’s nut-free, state of the art kitchen and is cooked using traditional methods, mostly by hand and always with love. We firmly believe that the old-
fashioned way of cooking brings heightened flavour to every sauce, soup, gravy and dressing. Once the products have been tasted by chefs (and sometimes by the rest of us greedy office bods) the food products are signed off, sealed and packed into bespoke containers to meet customers’ individual requirements. We produce in bulk or in smaller quantities – whatever works for you, works for us.
The final products are passed onto distributors who ship them to our customers throughout the UK and Europe.
This is a summary of the Quattro process. From research to planning and from sourcing to creating, every bite is made with care for our customers and a passion for our premium products.
