Quattro supports the rise of e-commerce for 2021

2021 is well and truly underway. It’s a new year and with the virus rampant and lockdown restrictions still firmly in place, nothing looks quite as bright as we’d hoped when we waved the wretched 2020 farewell. People are still falling sick, still losing their jobs and businesses are closing their doors across the country. On a brighter note, there’s one area that is thriving, thanks to Covid-19. Online retail is enjoying its day in the sun and Team Quattro is delighted to celebrate the success of some of our customers who have struggled through the last few months and are finally finding their feet again thanks to burgeoning online sales.

We are pleased to see that not only Zoom and Amazon are experiencing the unexpected benefits of the pandemic, but e-commerce in the food market is growing. An area that had exciting prospects and true potential long before the word pandemic was ever uttered, is now skyrocketing. People are stuck at home but they still need to eat, and with more time on their hands to experiment with cooking, online sales are promising progress, prosperity and profit to food manufacturers and distributers across the world.

At Quattro Foods we’re always innovating and we’re excited to witness this sector boom and to find ways of keeping up with demand. Adapting continually throughout the ravages of 2020, we kept our heads above water and we are now looking ahead to the new year with a glimmer of optimism as our customers are selling more online. Our development chefs are keeping pace by diversifying our ranges and adapting our processes to support those businesses that are benefitting from the e-commerce boom.

So, what’s on the new product development menu for 2021?

Vegan fare

It’s Veganuary and millions across the globe are shunning meat, fish and dairy products in favour of plant-based alternatives. We are showing solidarity by enhancing our growing range of vegan pasta fillings and sauces and incorporating whole vegetables including the skin and seeds for that extra wholesome burst of juicy flavour, colour and texture. Enjoy our new vegan cheese sauces and our plant-based Vietnamese yellow curry and Lentil ragu.

International delights

We love experimenting with culinary ideas from far-flung places, and in the absence of real travel we highly recommend you let your tastebuds transport you to exotic locations. Try our mouth-watering new range of Middle Eastern sauces and soups, and sample some spice with our ever-popular and growing curry range, Asian dipping sauces and pasta sauces, pizza bases and meatball sauce.

Quattro’s dedicated essential workers are beavering away in the kitchen to ensure that our range of new products conforms with food trends and growing e-commerce requirements.

Join us in a toast to positivity. Let’s all drink a glass of optimism and celebrate the growth of e-commerce and cross our fingers in the hope that those who have suffered will get back on their feet swiftly and successfully. Here’s to a prosperous, happy and much, much healthier 2021 – cheers!
