We’re ardent fans of veggie fare at Quattro Foods and we also love supporting food-based initiatives like Vegetarian Week. It’s a great opportunity to shout loud and proud about our amazing range of tasty, colourful and zesty veggie food products which have been complementing the menus of our customers in the wholesale and retail food businesses, the army, schools and colleges, the NHS and food-service providers for over a decade.

Vegetarian Week uncovered

What is Vegetarian Week? It’s a time to reflect on what we eat and how it impacts our health and the wellbeing of planet Earth, from climate to wildlife and so much more. The initiative was set up to educate consumers about the positive impact of vegetarian and vegan diets and to highlight the benefits and pleasures of a meat-free diet.

Going meat-free is growing in popularity with each passing year, as people are continually looking for new ways to protect the environment, tackle animal cruelty and improve their health. It also feels increasingly unnecessary to eat meat, with supermarket shelves well-stocked with meat substitutes and protein alternatives.
