Quattro Foods leads the way in the production and supply of ready to use products to the retail and wholesale food industry. From individual restaurants to global high street brands, from the NHS to the UN and the army and from schools and colleges to food service providers, Quattro chefs develop and create everything our customers need to keep their own customers happy.
Quattro’s workforce is not comprised of traditional chefs who work to please customers under the pressure of real-time dining. Our development chefs are highly trained in the conception of new dishes or food products which are then sent onwards to other professional kitchens who, in turn, serve their own customers.
This skill is indeed cooking in the traditional sense, but with the added elements of conceiving bespoke products and taking responsibility for the product lasting the journey and the required storage time, without any decline in taste or quality.
At Quattro we develop new, high-quality products for kitchens across Europe. Our chefs are required to test different recipes and to devise products that will survive being processed, delivered and reheated intact. Creating pre-prepared meals and food products requires a knowledge of raw ingredients and an understanding of how to preserve flavour and texture over time.
A vital element of the team’s work in bespoke food development is to research products and their potential markets by keeping an eye on consumer trends and new ingredients coming on to the market. As every Quattro employee is passionate about food, this an aspect of the job that comes naturally to us all.
Our work with the NHS requires another level of skill as variations on mainstream meals are required to assist with healing and recovery. Meals must be high in nutrition, often high in calories and low in salt. They must be suitable for a range of dietary requirements and be appetizing and appealing to patients with limited appetite.
Our chefs are constantly working to concoct new recipes, expand our ranges and improve our existing products. They are skilled in transforming food concepts into viable yet innovative products, whilst meeting food safety requirements, using Quattro’s traditional food manufacturing processes. They understand mass production techniques, work to tight deadlines and are comfortable in high pressure situations. As well as much of their time spent in the kitchen they also meet suppliers and customers. Only multi-skilled food lovers and all-round superheroes work in our BRCGS certified kitchen.
Quattro addresses the common frustrations that chefs find with the time consuming parts of their job. We see our roles as overcoming and simplifying some of the challenges personally experienced by professional chefs on a daily basis. We are a support system for professional kitchens looking to save time and money and to simplify daily operations.
Our chefs fully understand the need for our products to be convenient, good value, long-lasting and delicious. Come to Quattro Foods for the ultimate food products, created by chefs for chefs.
