Developing our menus to keep up with vegan demand

Quattro Foods is one of the UK’s leading food manufacturers, serving the restaurant, wholesale and retail sectors with the food products that their customers want and providing the Army, the UN, the NHS and schools and colleges with premium food to feed important ambassadors, recovering patients and hungry students. Focused on the quality of our customer care as passionately as on the distinction of our products, we ensure that we’re firmly on top of changing trends in eating. One of the most prominent culinary movements is the quest for ever-evolving plant based menu ideas. Veganism is in vogue.

Not a passing fad, though. It seems that vegans not only shun animal products for the moral good, but also derive much pleasure from the creative tastes that plant-based products produce, combined with countless health and environmental benefits.

Our talented development chefs have stepped up to the challenge of sourcing fresh local produce to create internationally-inspired culinary meat and dairy-free dishes.

And we’re not the only ones. The culinary world as a whole is becoming greener and, as the market moves, the Quattro chefs proudly keep apace.

Quattro’s extensive range of colourful, healthy and flavoursome vegan meals includes compotes, soups sauces, rice pots, risottos and mashes.

Every item is mouth-watering and offers chefs in busy kitchens complete convenience – reducing preparation time and increasing shelf life. In keeping with our wholesome theme, we use traditional production methods and homestyle cooking processes. We really believe that the benefits of old-fashioned cooking in terms of quality and taste are incomparable.

We are dedicated to supporting our vegan friends in their ideology and diet. They abhor eating or wearing any product that comes from an animal and they are committed to promoting the benefits of their lifestyle choice which includes highly compelling health implications. Red meat can be high in saturated fat and cutting it out of your diet promotes healthy eating habits. Leafy green veg is bursting with protein and vitamin B12 and can also be truly crunchy, refreshing and delicious, if cooked brilliantly (see chef Tony for ideas).

How do our exacting chefs tackle the challenge of leaving out eggs, milk and cheese? They think, plan and work their magic to come up with a dazzling list of vegan options. As our vegan and free-
from range continues to develop, our chefs have reached the definitive conclusion that there’s not a taste in the world that cannot be substituted. Our faithful customers know that we would never compromise on taste, so let us persuade you that we’re right.

Try one of our delicious plant-based products, including:
• Summer fruit compote
• Spicy Mexican rice sauce
• Vegetable chilli
• Refried beans
• Vegan béchamel Sauce
• Garlic puree
• Ratatouille
• Sweet potato mash
• Herby tomato pasta sauce
• Tomato and basil soup
• Minestrone

For those who believe that using animal products is unnecessary and unethical but refuse to compromise on taste, call Team Quattro. We understand the market and your needs and we are trusted by countless restaurants, high street chains, the NHS, the Army, schools and food service providers in the retail and wholesale market.

Calling all vegans – Quattro is at your service!
